Spotify believes in that, and that’s why they’ve recently announced their new Spotify Premium Duo, the first-of-its-kid subscription plan that works best for couples. Best part? Premium Duo is rolling out across 55 markets worldwide, and some of them include the Middle East region.
Listen and enjoy music together
Unlike the Family plan (that allows up to 6 people in the same household) that may seem overkill for some users, Premium Duo is ideal for couples at the same home address. Each user gets their own individual Premium account. This gives them the benefits of Spotify Premium: ad-free, on-demand listening to a catalogue of more than 50 million tracks and more than 1 million podcast titles.
Premium Duo is for any two people living at the same home address. Each user gets their own Premium account under one plan. This also includes unique benefits like exclusive access to Duo Mix, a regularly updated playlist made just for the two subscribers to discover audio they both love and enjoy together. Maybe you could even find your Summer music matchup.
How did Spotify come to launching this new subscription option? Well, it turns out their own research fueled the prospects:
- 73% of couples say they listen to music together as a way of remembering happy memories.
- A total of 63% say they listen to music together as a way of building their identity or creating memorable moments.
