You’ve seen the news of media streaming providers raising their subscription pricing. The last time Apple raised it for Apple TV+ was in 2023. Now, the news has been confirmed that it’s already getting another increase. So far, many outlets have said worldwide but it is truly applicable to every country? Some have confirmed it’s happening in the US, and even the UK is seeing it.
However, the details are within the lines as it’s not completely laid out which specific countries are seeing the revised pricing.
I contacted Apple’s Media line to clarify if any countries in the MENA and South Asia regions would see the price increase. They responded quickly about it – the MENA and South Asia regions won’t see the subscription pricing changes at present. That doesn’t mean there won’t be an increase but current standings have left them at their present price.
You’d still get it if you subscribe to Apple One bundle (the all-in-one bundle that offers Cloud, Apple TV+, Apple Music and more), and actually save more rather than paying for each one separately. That looks to be the case to help usher people towards their bundled offerings, which does deliver savings as a benefit. With the earlier expansion to Android, time will tell if it’ll happen in one year or even sooner.
