Don’t you love when a digital entertainment entity does a grand set of discounts on everything from games to peripherals? Sony has always been at the forefront. Like last year, PlayStation is back again with their Days of Play for the MENA region – just before the summer holidays.
Peripherals, consoles and more
It’s only been a few months since the revised PS5 slim models – digital and standard – have been released, and it’s also a good time to pickup one with the discounted pricing. For a little comparison reference, here’s how much the price drop covers both models in Qatar (expect similar pricing across the MENA region)
| SKU | Standard Price | Days of Play price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | QAR 2,099 | QAR 1,899 |
| Digital | QAR 1,689 | QAR 1,489 |

There are even price drops for the DualSense controllers and PS VR2 headsets (soon, you’ll be able to use it on your PC as well). Whether you prefer physical discs or going digital via the PS Store, games are also seeing price drops. This also includes current PS4 players.
Are you nearing the time to renew your PS Plus subscription? You can even get a deal on the 12-month option of PlayStation Plus compared to the current rates: 30% off PS Plus Deluxe, 25% off PS Plus Extra, and 20% off PS Plus Essential. That gives you access to hundreds of PS5, PS4 and classic PlayStation games, as well as the Monthly Game during your subscription.
| Country | Days of Play 2024 price |
|---|---|
| Qatar | QAR 219 |
| UAE | AED 229 |
| Oman | OMR 29.50 |
| Kuwait | KWD 18.90 |
| Bahrain | BD 25.000 |
PlayStation is also hosting the Days of Play Community Challenge now, offering exclusive rewards to PlayStation Stars users especially if you’re also PS Plus subscribers. Everyone worldwide can participate together to unlock them. Once completed, the Digital Collectible can be redeemed and added to your display case.
With so much on offer, you’ve got until June 12. Check with your local retail/reseller for more details. The sale covers the following countries: Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
