How else can a tech company celebrate and get involved with the geek culture, especially with the newest Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine movie release (btw, it was rumored that it would be banned in the MENA region)?
Google seems to have figured it out when people use the Circle to Search feature on supported Android devices by Samsung and the Pixel series.
Get Deadpool to pop out on your screen
While ‘Circle to Search’ was initially launched for the Galaxy S24 series and Pixel 8 devices, it’s also available on the S23 following the OneUI update. That means only a select pool of Android users get to try out this promotional easter egg.

It’s not restricted to using it on a specific website, as it works on any website as long as it mentions any of the following words (Note that it only works on the English spelling). Just follow the below steps
- Open any website that talks about the ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ movie
- If you have the default Android naviation option, hold the circular button on the bottom taskbar.
- Either with your finger or S Pen (when using the Galaxy S24 Ultra), circle anywhere on the page that includes any of the following words:
- Deadpool
- Deadpool and Wolverine
- Deadpool & Wolverine
- Dogpool
- Within seconds, you’ll see the search result popup along with either Deadpool/Wolverine/Dogpool appear for few seconds and then disappear.
This easter egg isn’t expected to last long, as Mashable has confirmd with Google that it’ll end by the end of August.
