I grew up reading the print versions of WIRED magazine, and always frequented their website every day to read the latest stories of technology at the intersection of innovation and mind-boggling ideas. Although most of their stories were focused on select markets worldwide with globally-relevant topics, Middle East readers are about to get some love.
Conde Nast International has partnered with Nervora, a Dubai-based media company that also publishes Vogue Arabia in the Middle East in English and Arabic. This makes it the fifth edition of the WIRED brand that will be published under a license agreement with Nervora.
It’s not the same WIRED if you don’t have some of their other signature touches – their marquee events and consulting practice will also be launched in the region. How this will come together will be announced in due course about their editorial team.
Aside from mentioning ‘Spring 2019’, there’s been no confirmed date. If you’re looking to stay ahead of the game on their launch, do visit their new website to sign up for updates and follow their LinkedIn company page. While you’re at it, Nervora is looking to staff up the WIRED Middle East team in preparation for the launch.
