ASUS ROG Flow Z13 debuts in the Middle East

ASUS Republic of Gamers has launched the ROG Flow Z13 (GZ302), a compact 13-inch 2-in-1 gaming device in the Middle East. Featuring an AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395 processor and Radeon™ 8060S Graphics, it aims for desktop-class performance in a mobile form-factor.

Gaming hardware is making a resurgence, but a smaller form factor with the likes of handheld gaming is also becoming popular. Taking it to a different direction, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) brings the ROG Flow Z13 (GZ302) 2025 to the Middle East region. Unveiled earlier at CES 2025, this ultra-compact 13-inch 2-in-1 device has been designed for technology early adopters and AI-focused developers.

Breaking down the silicon inside

There is no separate CPU nor dedicated GPU inside this small form factor. The true power comes from the powerful AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395 with the on-die Radeon™ 8060S Graphics. We’re talking desktop-class performance with AI acceleration comprised of 16 high-performance Zen 5 cores and 40 RDNA 3.5 compute units. The SoC also boasts 50 TOPS of AI performance, which makes the ROG Flow Z13 a certified Copilot+ PC.

Fuelling it is a unified quad-channel memory architecture that intelligently allocates resources between the CPU and GPU. This ensures optimal speed for AI workloads, gaming, and content creation.

One major difference – the Middle East region gets the 32GB ultra-fast LPDDR5X 8000MHz RAM (USA/Canada get the 128GB option).

ASUS ROG Flow Z13 for gamers and content creators

For a tablet powerhouse like this, cooling is definitely on top of the mind. There’s an all-new stainless steel and copper vapor chamber, which offers 54% more coverage for improved thermal efficiency. Then add the dual 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans™ with larger air intake vents, allowing for 70% more airflow, ensuring quiet and cool operation. Additionally, a specially designed air channel behind the touchscreen reduces surface temperatures, enhancing comfort during extended gaming sessions.

The brilliant 13-inch ROG Nebula Display provides a 2.5K resolution at 180Hz, delivering vibrant colors and ultra-smooth visuals. Content creators and gamers benefit from the fine details:

  • Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 for enhanced durability
  • 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy
  • a 16:10 aspect ratio
  • 500 nits of peak brightness
  • stylus-capable touchscreen

Let’s not forget one thing – the ROG Flow Z13’s 1.2kg lightweight all-aluminum chassis and touchscreen convertible form factor provides a balance of mobility without sacrificing power.

Connectivity and Power for the ROG Flow Z13

There’s no lack of wired connectivity in the ROG Flow Z13’s lightweight design and form-factor. You get dual
USB-C® ports with USB4® support (up to 40Gbps speeds and supports DisplayPort), a HDMI® 2.1, USB Type-A (for those that still use , a microSD card reader (UHS-II), and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.

For the mobility users, power is fueled by a 70Wh battery. Oh, you can choose to upgrade the M.2 SSD to a higher capacity, though you’d have to mirror the current SSD’s contents to the new one.
